Biodegradable Woven Light Cotton Interfacing | B710 Vilene
THE very first fully bio-degradable woven interlining! Made from natural raw materials plus the adhesive is also 100% bio-degradable (a first in the world as far as we can see!).
The interlining itself is designed to perform the same as the popular G710 Vilene interlining.
It is a versatile option, for tailoring and dressmaking, perfect for Small Parts of blouses and shirts. For quilting and the like it will add gentle additional body to your fabric to make it firmer to work with.
Ideal for light to medium-weight fabrics. Use steam iron; glide iron slowly over each area 6 times applying steam and pressure.

Instructions For Use

- Like all interfacings made by Vilene, the interfacing is always cut in a lengthwise direction and thereby follows the grain of the fabric.
- Place the interfacing with the coated side on the wrong side of the fabric. Cover with a damp cloth and press each area for about 15 seconds, without moving the iron. (Iron setting 2: Cotton.)
- Allow the pieces to cool flat for about 30 minutes, so that the adhesive can set properly.

To order simply add metres to your basket - we will cut as one continuous length up to the 20m full roll. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

The well-known brand Vilene has changed its name to Vlieseline. The brand is owned by a parent company called Freudenberg Non-Wovens. The team at Freudenberg made the decision to rebrand throughout much of the world to the new name Vlieseline.
To be completely clear the actual products have not changed and are still the same great quality interfacings, waddings and creative mediums we expect - it is simply a change in name.
