Tilda Bon Voyage Fabric Inspiration

Inspired by tiles and pottery from travels to distant shores, the Tilda designer's love for ceramics is apparent in the Bon Voyage collection. However to be more in keeping with the Tilda concept, the palette is more subdued than what you would find in classic pottery.

To mix up the larger tile-inspired patterns and to make the collection more user-friendly, a series of smaller patterns in matching colours make up half the fabrics.

It is easy to juxtapose larger and smaller patterns in interesting patchworks.

This is one of the first collections to be released in Tilda's new Premium Quality Fabric.

Jelly Roll, Roll Up or Fabric Roll?

They are all very similar, literally the main difference being the fabric brands who choose the name. They normally have 30-40 Strips of 2.5" wide x 44" long strips of fabric. These strips are pre cut and rolled up in a bundle known as a Jelly Roll or Roll Up or Strip Roll etc. These bundles are ideal for various sewing projects.
