Fold Over Elastic, 60mm | Multiple Shade Options
Practical & easy to use fold over elastic is a range of shades. Allows you to quickly & easily finish edges by sandwiching the fabric between the elastic, fold & stitch.
The elastic has a thread omitted down the middle to create a natural fold line.
Sew straight through the layers. A zig zag stitch is preferable although it is possible to use a straight stitch.
Ideal for activewear, waistbands, cuffing etc where a more reinforced finish is desired.
As is convention with Fold Over Elastic, the width given is the flat width before folding.

Fold Over Elastic - 60mm wide (flat) approx 30mm wide when folded. Available up to 10m in length.

Elastic Cut Lengths
Elastic Orders will be cut as one continuous length up to 10m (a full roll).
Recommended Sewing Thread
We recommend sewing with 120s Polycore General Thread – the thread is perfect for light to mid weight uses such as dressmaking, tailoring and general sewing.
If you would prefer to stitch with a pure cotton thread then Empress General Purpose Cotton Thread would also be ideal.
