Beautifully soft and cosy, our Classic Sheep / Sherpa Fleece Fabric has a lovely wool-like texture that adds warmth, comfort and depth to all sorts of sewing projects. With its distinctive sheepskin-style finish, it's a great choice for both clothing & home furnishings.

The fabric has a characteristic wool-like fleece surface with a smoother reverse, making it particularly useful for garments, linings and accessories. Its textured finish provides excellent warmth without the weight of traditional wool, while the soft, inviting feel makes it a favourite for blankets, throws and other cosy projects.
Sherpa fleece is particularly popular for jackets, hoodies, gilets and cold-weather accessories. It works beautifully as a lining for coats and outerwear, adding an extra layer of warmth and comfort. Around the home, it's equally lovely for blankets, throws, cushions and soft furnishings.

The Fabric & Ordering
The fabric is priced per metre.
To order simply add metres to your basket - we will cut as one continuous length up to the standard 12m full bolt option. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

Recommended Sewing Thread
We recommend stitching the Antipil Fleece Range with Empress Thread Plus. It is slightly stronger than a ‘normal’ sewing thread meaning it won’t have a problem sewing fleece, particularly at seams and edges where you are likely to have multilayers.
Despite its extra strength, Thread Plus can still be used with a standard sewing machine needle. Please Contact Us if you would like any more info.
