Superb quality mid weight Jersey Fabric in a classic Spot design. Soft to the touch and created using viscose, the Jersey feels lighter than its 200gsm weight. Ideal for a host of projects including dressmaking, t-shirts, dresses & more.

Jersey Fabric Information
Mid weight Jersey Fabric created using a Viscose & Spandex blend which ensures despite it being bracketed as a mid weight jersey it has a lighter touch. Featuring a classic spot it is perfect for a variety of projects and will be easy care with minimal creasing.
With 5% Spandex and a knitted construction the fabric has extra stretch and a super drape.
We describe this as a: Mid Weight Jersey (200gsm) - lighter feel.
As a rough guide lightweight options come in at 100 - 140gsm mark. At the 200gsm weight the fabric is ideal for dressmaking through to tops and t-shirts.

Needles - Stitch with Jersey Ballpoint Machine Needles. The ball of the needle parts the Jersey fibres rather than piercing them to help ensure the elastic quality remain intact.
Thread - Stitch with Empress General Purpose Thread, this is a poly/cotton fibre. Alternatively if you would prefer to work with a pure cotton option Empress 100% Cotton Thread will also stitch perfectly.
Interfacing - Vlieseline (Vilene) Stretch Interfacings are created especially for working with fabrics such as Jersey. They add a little more body to make sewing easier.
