Fusible Warm Fleece 2 gets you right to quilting and crafting!
Simply sandwich between top and bottom fabrics – fusing all layers together at the same time for a quick, soft and stable bond ready to sew by hand or machine.
It is the great time-saving way to add loft, dimension and stability to quilting, crafting and sewing projects.
If you’re looking for a thin more rigid finish just press down and steam for the desired consistency. If softness is desired a quick pass is all it takes!

Fusible Fleece 2 features Steam-A-Seam 2 on both sides of the Warm Fleece allowing you to quickly fuse your top and backing fabrics eliminating the need for basting.
The fleece is extremely versatile in that a quick, gentle pass of your steam iron will create a permanent soft, pliable bond ideal for soft books but the more steam and pressure you apply makes it very rigid for stand up totes!
It is always best to pre-wash fabrics and heavier fabrics will require more time to fuse.

For Quilting - the fleeces original purpose - we recommend stitching with Empress Cotton Sewing Thread. Fine, strong, soft finish & absolutely natural. An ideal and superb general-purpose cotton with uses ranging from dressmaking to quilting. Lint-free and guaranteed to run on you sewing machine.
For Bag Making or Other Projects - we recommend stitching with Empress Thread Plus. It is slightly stronger than a ‘normal’ sewing thread meaning it won’t have a problem sewing fleece, particularly at seams and edges where you are likely to have multilayers.
Thread Plus is the option that is included when you 'add a matching thread' above.

The manufacturer advises the following care instructions however we always advise testing a small piece first to make sure you are 100% happy.
Warm Company Pre-Wash & Care Instructions
Note that this step is optional. You will experience no shrinking.
Hand Wash mild detergent. Do not agitate or spin in washer.
Soak for 20 minutes, rinse several times.
Squeeze out water. DO NOT WRING. Rolling in a towel helps.
Dry in a warm dryer or lay flat to air dry.
