\"\"We have received an unprecedented number of requests for fabrics that can be used for making Scrubs for the marvellous NHS teams around the country and further afield.<\/p>\n

It has been our pleasure to play a small part in the effort and have worked hard to despatch literally 1000s of metres to groups around the country in record time.<\/p>\n

Stocks have changed significantly since my first post on this so please see below for an update.<\/p>\n

Before I go further it is important to state that:<\/p>\n

Empress Mills Fabrics are manufactured for use in garments and home crafts and our products have not been designed for, nor have they been tested for any medical application or against any test standard that would be required in a medical application.<\/p>\n

We cannot guarantee and accept no liability for the use in a medical environment.<\/p>\n

In these unprecedented times we are naturally pleased our fabrics can be of use but we feel it is only right we highlight the above.<\/p>\n

Below I have popped together a short list of fabrics which are being used for various Scrubs applications.<\/p>\n

Please be aware the stock position is moving by the hour but we are working hard with suppliers and mills in the UK and across the world to ensure supplies are available but it is becoming an increasing struggle.<\/p>\n

Fabrics For Scrubs<\/h2>\n

\"\"Classic Chambray<\/h3>\n

This is now proving popular after the Gaberchino (below) went out of stock in blues.<\/p>\n

100% cotton but we have test washed this 14 times on a 60 degree wash and there has been no colour movement or shrinkage. Creasing has been v. minimal.<\/p>\n

\"\"Klona Cotton<\/h3>\n

100% cotton but we have test washed this 14 times on a 60 degree wash. On a 50cm x 50cm square piece there was shrinkage of approx 1cm on the first wash and no further movement in subsequent washes. No colour movement. Creasing has been minimal.<\/p>\n
