Scrim (Linen & Cotton) Fabric
Ideal for dyeing and other creative projects Linen & Cotton Scrim is a relatively coarse fabric, ideal for manipulation and has some natural hold.
Unbelievably originally created for window cleaners cloths. The cotton provided some water absorption and the linen added a rough texture to ensure windows could be cleaned of all dirt!

The fabric is priced per metre.
To order simply add metres to your basket - we will cut as one continuous length. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

Recommended Thread
We recommend stitching Linen & Cotton Scrim with Empress Thread Plus, it is twice as strong but not twice as thick as a standard general purpose sewing thread - so you can use the same needle. Ideal for heavier weight fabrics, coarse fabrics, stress seams etc.
